Field Calibration Technician (Remote - US)

This role is ideal for a skilled and detail-oriented professional who enjoys hands-on technical work, traveling to customer sites, and ensuring precision in measurement equipment. As a Field Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of test and measurement instruments. You’ll support various industries — from aerospace to life sciences — by ensuring their equipment operates with accuracy and reliability. Accountabilities:

• Perform onsite calibration of measurement and test equipment (M&TE) according to manufacturer specifications.
• Identify and correct out-of-tolerance conditions through adjustments or minor repairs.
• Maintain and document calibration results with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of calibration standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates on services and potential equipment needs.
• Submit all required administrative and travel documentation promptly.
• Collaborate with the internal lab team when not traveling to support ongoing calibration operations.

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience (2–5 years).
• Prior calibration experience or equivalent training with commercial or biomedical measurement and test equipment.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with database systems.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills; able to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 75 lbs, and stand for extended periods.
• Desired: Military PMEL training or equivalent technical background.
