This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Enterprise Security Architect (Fraud) in the United States.
This role provides an opportunity to shape and implement enterprise-wide security strategies with a focus on fraud prevention and detection. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design secure systems, assess risk, and guide the organization in adopting best-in-class security solutions. The position involves evaluating emerging threats, recommending security technologies, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You will also mentor teams, participate in vendor assessments, and influence architectural decisions to strengthen fraud resilience across the enterprise. This role is ideal for experienced security professionals who thrive on strategic challenges, hands-on implementation, and collaborative problem-solving in a dynamic environment.
Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and implement secure architectures for applications, systems, and networks.
- Conduct risk analyses and security assessments for existing and proposed systems.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Provide guidance on security best practices to development, operations, and business teams.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement new security technologies and tools.
- Monitor emerging threats and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
- Support vendor security reviews and manage assessments such as ISO27001, FedRamp, and SOC2.
- Lead initiatives to prevent, detect, and respond to fraud and security abuse.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 15 years in information security, with at least 10 years in a security architecture role.
- Expertise in security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
- Experience designing and implementing secure cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency with security technologies including firewalls, IDPS, SIEM, endpoint security, and DLP.
- Strong knowledge of application security, secure coding principles, network protocols, IAM solutions, cryptography, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with privacy regulations and data protection practices.
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, CFE, CAMS, CFCS, or Generative AI for Cybersecurity Professionals.
