This role offers a strategic opportunity to shape technology initiatives for Institutional Client Services, providing enterprise-level architecture guidance and driving high-impact solutions. The Enterprise Architect will translate business objectives into actionable architectures spanning cloud, microservices, and core banking systems while ensuring compliance with regulatory, risk, and data privacy requirements. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, senior leaders, and vendors to deliver scalable, cost-effective solutions. It also includes contributing to architecture governance, solution delivery, and technology integration, fostering innovation in financial services. The role provides a blend of remote work and periodic on-site engagement, allowing for flexible, dynamic collaboration.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture strategies, roadmaps, and high-level design frameworks.
  • Translate business goals into actionable solution architectures across cloud, microservices, and core banking systems.
  • Ensure solutions comply with financial regulations, risk frameworks, and data privacy standards.
  • Guide cross-functional teams through architecture governance, solution delivery, and integration efforts.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and vendors to design and implement scalable, cost-effective solutions.
  • Advise and mentor teams on architecture best practices and technology decisions.
  • Support innovation initiatives and continuous improvement in financial services technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, including 3+ years in Azure hybrid environments.
  • Strong knowledge of institutional banking products (capital markets, investment management, structured finance, M&A).
  • Proven expertise with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and product-centric delivery models is preferred.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical solutions.
