Engineering Manager (Remote - US)

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a high-performance Data Ingestion platform. This platform powers real-time data streams critical to customer-facing products and internal machine learning models. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical expertise with strong people management skills, overseeing the delivery of reliable, low-latency data pipelines and infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, drive architectural decisions, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and innovation. This role offers the opportunity to shape data infrastructure strategy while mentoring engineers and scaling high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers to deliver scalable, high-throughput data ingestion pipelines and streaming applications.
• Participate in hands-on technical design, implementation, and review of data infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with Product Management to align engineering execution with business objectives.
• Ensure the reliability, performance, and high availability of critical data platforms.
• Guide architectural decisions, selecting technologies and frameworks appropriate for large-scale data processing.
• Promote engineering best practices, quality standards, and process improvements across the team.
• Support cross-functional collaboration to facilitate smooth delivery of end-to-end use cases.

• Proven experience as an engineering manager or team lead, with a track record of developing high-performing engineering teams.
• Strong technical background in data-intensive environments, including large-scale data processing, streaming, and pipeline architecture.
• Hands-on experience with designing, developing, and deploying reliable, high-uptime systems.
• Expertise in translating business needs into actionable technical projects and solutions.
• Familiarity with modern data technologies and platforms, including cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure.
• Excellent mentoring, coaching, and leadership skills, with the ability to foster growth and development in engineers.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work across teams and influence stakeholders.
• Experience evaluating emerging technologies and applying them appropriately to solve complex challenges.
