This role offers a unique opportunity to combine technical engineering expertise with strategic client management in the electrical power sector. As a National Account Manager, you will partner with major Food, Beverage, and Agriculture clients to enhance the safety, reliability, and performance of their electrical systems. You will serve as the technical authority for national accounts, guiding projects, presenting solutions, and fostering strong client relationships. This position is ideal for engineers who want to leverage their technical knowledge in a client-facing leadership role, driving business growth while solving complex electrical challenges. The role requires independent decision-making, proactive problem-solving, and travel to client sites, while collaborating with regional teams to ensure consistent service delivery. Your efforts will directly impact client satisfaction, account growth, and operational excellence.
Accountabilities:
· Serve as the technical liaison and subject matter expert (SME) for national accounts in the Food, Beverage, and Agriculture sectors.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with client engineering, operations, and maintenance leaders.
· Lead technical presentations, proposals, and discussions to demonstrate expertise and value.
· Support regional sales and service teams with technical guidance and project alignment.
· Develop and execute strategic account plans with measurable objectives and KPIs.
· Identify new service opportunities, drive continuous improvement, and monitor industry trends to inform account strategy.
· Report account performance, opportunities, and challenges to senior management.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
· Experience in electrical power distribution; sector experience in Food, Beverage, Agriculture, or Industrial preferred but not required.
· Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills to engage both technically and strategically.
· Demonstrated ability to lead discussions, provide technical solutions, and collaborate with teams and clients.
· Interest and capacity to develop account management and business development skills.
· Confident, proactive, adaptable, and client-focused mindset.
· Ability to travel up to 50% and work independently in a national role.
