Job Title: Electrical Engineer - AutoCAD Drafter

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Electrical Engineer with proficiency in AutoCAD and a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components in compliance with NEC standards. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems and components using AutoCAD software.
• Prepare detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and diagrams in compliance with NEC standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct electrical analysis and calculations to support design decisions.
• Ensure compliance with the NEC and other relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
• Review and approve technical drawings and documentation.
• Manage and coordinate project activities, timelines, and resources.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical systems.
• Stay updated with advancements in electrical engineering technologies and practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in electrical engineering with a focus on design and development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software for creating electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and its application.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in design and documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Experience with other engineering software and tools.
• Knowledge of renewable energy systems and sustainable engineering practices.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies.
