Drafter/Engineer/CNC Engineer

RemoteVA is looking for a skilled Drafter/Engineer/CNC Engineer to join our remote team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing highly accurate technical shop drawings, collaborating with engineering teams to develop and refine designs, and ensuring that all outputs meet strict code and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

-Create detailed 2D and 3D shop drawings using AutoCAD.

-Collaborate with engineers to interpret technical specifications and produce accurate designs.

-Review, revise, and update engineering drawings based on feedback and design modifications.

-Use Logikal software to generate profiles and component designs for aluminum systems.

-Utilize Microsoft Excel for calculations, material take-offs, and documentation.

-Ensure all drawings are compliant with relevant codes and project requirements.

-Coordinate with team members to meet project deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

-At least 2 years of experience in drafting, engineering, or CNC programming roles.

-Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience using Logikal software (strongly preferred).

-Solid understanding of architectural and engineering drawings and standards.

-Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and blueprints.

-Competence in Microsoft Excel for documentation and calculations.

-Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

-Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

-Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup.
