Job Title: Drafter – Planning & Elevation Layouts (UK-Based Experience)

📝 Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drafter with strong UK-based experience to create precise planning drawings, floor plans, elevations, and layout sections. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for maximizing space, translating concepts into workable plans, and communicating directly with clients to ensure satisfaction and compliance with UK building standards.

💼 Key Responsibilities:

• Produce planning drawings including floor plans, elevations, and layout sections.
• Interpret client requirements and translate conceptual ideas into detailed technical drawings.
• Optimize spatial arrangements with architectural efficiency.
• Ensure drawings meet UK planning and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers for design integrity.
• Communicate professionally with clients via email regarding project revisions and updates.
• Adjust layouts based on feedback to meet aesthetic and functional requirements.

🎯 Qualifications:

• Proven experience drafting for UK-based companies or clients.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with SketchUp, Revit, and Bluebeam Revu is a plus.
• Strong understanding of UK building codes, planning permission processes, and elevation standards.
• Background in architectural or structural drafting (e.g., experience with residential and commercial projects).
• Excellent spatial planning and layout optimization skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage client communication effectively.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving ability.

• Must be available to work 9 AM – 5 PM UK time
