We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Product Management to lead the growth and evolution of a top-performing mobile game franchise. In this role, you will define and execute product strategy, drive feature development, optimize live operations, and innovate player experiences. You will oversee a small, high-performing Product Management team, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making, collaboration, and continuous optimization. This position requires balancing big-picture vision with day-to-day execution, leveraging analytics, market insights, and emerging technologies, including AI, to deliver compelling gameplay. The role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on a beloved franchise, influence player engagement, and lead innovation in a dynamic, fast-paced gaming environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Define and implement the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the franchise to drive retention, engagement, and revenue growth.
  • Oversee feature development, live operations, content updates, and product launches, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead the design and validation of new product features, including A/B testing and data-driven optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including game development, marketing, and analytics, to deliver high-quality player experiences.
  • Build and manage a high-performing Product Management team, providing coaching, feedback, and career development opportunities.
  • Integrate emerging tools and technologies, including AI and Machine Learning, to enhance development efficiency and player engagement.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive apps, and player behaviors to inform innovation and strategic decisions.
  • Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across the product team.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Product Management experience, with a focus on mobile games, preferably in the Match-3 or F2P genre.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches, lifecycle management, and revenue growth in mobile gaming.
  • Deep understanding of game mechanics, player engagement, retention, monetization strategies, and mobile gaming trends.
  • Experience analyzing large datasets to identify actionable insights (Looker and Vertica proficiency preferred).
  • Strong leadership skills with experience building and managing high-performing Product Management teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Experience driving product strategy in a partner-and-support model across multiple teams.
  • Passion for gaming and innovation, with the ability to push creative boundaries and enhance player experiences.
  • Comfortable working in a fully remote environment and managing distributed teams.
