Developer (Remote)

RemoteVA is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Developer to assist with the migration of an existing MS Access SQL system to an Azure SQL database, with frontend integration in React. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of both frontend and backend development, and hands-on experience with data migration and modernization projects.

Key Responsibilities:

-Migrate legacy MS Access SQL database to Azure SQL.

-Collaborate in transitioning the existing interface to a modern React-based front end.

-Maintain clean, well-documented, and scalable code.

-Ensure smooth integration between the backend and frontend.

-Troubleshoot issues during the migration process and optimize performance.

-Communicate progress and updates regularly with the project lead.

Required Skills & Tools:

-Proficiency in MS Access SQL.

-Experience with Azure SQL for cloud-based database development.

-Strong knowledge of React, HTML, and CSS.

-Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.

-Good communication skills, particularly in remote work environments.
