This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality software delivery by designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web, API, and backend systems. You will work closely with development teams to ensure that applications are reliable, scalable, and performant, while supporting continuous integration and deployment processes. The position emphasizes innovation in testing practices, automation, and quality assurance, giving you the chance to influence processes and improve efficiency across projects. Accountabilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend components.
  • Execute regression, smoke, and functional test suites within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Identify, log, and track software defects, ensuring clear communication with developers for resolution.
  • Support manual QA tasks as needed and provide backup for testing activities.
  • Investigate advanced issues with developers and contribute to problem-solving and root cause analysis.
  • Develop, integrate, and promote automated testing systems across development teams.
  • Monitor key quality indicators, enabling teams to improve testing practices autonomously.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in automation testing.
  • Proficiency in Java; Python and JavaScript are advantageous.
  • Expertise in automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright) and API testing.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated success implementing automated test solutions.
  • Leadership and influence skills to drive change within teams.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Vision to innovate and adapt in a dynamic business environment.
