· Engage directly with clients to understand business goals and technical needs, ensuring optimal platform adoption.
· Support pre-sales activities, including workshops, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and technical presentations.
· Lead complex projects integrating Databricks with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
· Optimize large-scale data processing, streaming, and machine learning workflows for performance and scalability.
· Provide guidance and mentorship to clients and internal teams on data engineering, AI, and ML best practices.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful implementations and contribute to market strategy.
· Help define Go-To-Market strategies and identify opportunities for innovation and business growth.
Requirements
· 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related fields with hands-on experience using Databricks.
· Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native technologies.
· Expertise in Python, Scala, and SQL for large-scale data processing.
· Experience designing and implementing data pipelines, ETL processes, data lakes, and associated DevOps and security practices.
· Familiarity with machine learning workflows and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
· Experience with big data tools, including Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Delta Lake.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Preferred: Databricks or cloud certifications, knowledge of data governance, and experience creating market-facing content.
· Key competencies: problem-solving mindset, strategic thinking, strong customer-facing skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and comfort engaging with C-level stakeholders.
