This role offers the opportunity to lead data management and Salesforce administration for a mission-driven organization focused on social impact. You will serve as a key member of the Data & Digital Team, driving data quality, system optimization, and user empowerment across the organization. The position involves managing internal and external data flows, maintaining and improving Salesforce systems, supporting staff with training and documentation, and implementing best practices to foster a data-driven culture. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership, peers, and external consultants to ensure data enables strategic decision-making and operational excellence. This role is fully remote, with preference for candidates near major community hubs, providing flexibility while making a meaningful impact.

Accountabilities

  • Administer and maintain Salesforce, including configuration, data entry, bulk uploads, troubleshooting, and user support.
  • Oversee data quality initiatives, identifying and correcting errors across programmatic and development data.
  • Implement system-wide improvements, including data model transformations and integration enhancements.
  • Support staff through training, documentation, and resolving support tickets to promote a data-driven culture.
  • Manage external data collection processes, including FormAssembly forms and website integrations.
  • Collaborate with peers, leadership, and external consultants to execute projects efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience, including at least 1 year of Salesforce administration.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, including security controls, process automation, and business application development.
  • Experience with data management, reporting, and ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com or ClickUp.
  • Preferred experience with FormAssembly and its Salesforce connectors.
  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, App Builder) are a plus but not required.
  • Excellent communication, training, and collaboration skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
