This role is ideal for a seasoned construction professional who will oversee large-scale projects, including new location buildouts, relocations, rebranding initiatives, and site closures. The Construction Senior Manager will lead a team of Construction Managers, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. This position requires strategic planning, effective team leadership, and risk management skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role offers opportunities to make a measurable impact across multiple projects while mentoring and guiding project teams.

Accountabilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Lead and coordinate internal Construction Managers, subcontractors, and external construction teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, architects, general contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.
  • Monitor project expenditures and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to maintain cost efficiency.
  • Ensure all construction work adheres to quality standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Oversee progress tracking, implement adjustments as needed, and address challenges or delays.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard timelines, budgets, and quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 10+ years of experience in the construction industry, with proven leadership in managing multi-site or complex projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage teams and liaise effectively with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools for planning, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and meeting high-quality standards.
  • Knowledge of safety compliance and risk management in construction environments.
