🚀 About the Role

RDI is a fast-moving clinical research company working on high-impact diagnostics trials. We’re looking for a systems-minded operator to own and run our site outreach campaigns — identifying the right doctors, building precision-targeted lead lists, and running outreach end to end.

You’ll also manage and coach a support team (starting with one coordinator), improve our execution systems, and make sure outreach runs without the founder’s direct involvement. This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role with real impact.

🎯 Your Responsibilities

  •  Design and execute doctor outreach campaigns for clinical trial site activation

  •  Research and filter doctors using tools like ChatGPT, Google, NPI Registry, Definitive, etc.

  •  Use clinical judgment and U.S. standard of care research to identify the right specialists and exclude poor fits (e.g. distinguishing PICU from adult ICU)

  •  Build targeting frameworks using CPT, ICD-10, and claims logic

  •  QA all lists before launch — ensure quality, specialty match, and targeting precision

  •  Create SOPs and research playbooks to standardize repeatable outreach

  •  Write and iterate outreach emails (with ChatGPT or original writing) that drive replies

  •  Manage outreach coordinator(s) — assign work, check quality, and coach improvement

  •  Run email sequences in Mixmax or similar tools

  •  Triage replies and hand off to the PM or Medical Director for NDA and qualification

  •  Track outreach performance in Airtable or CRM

  •  Continuously improve the system — spot issues, propose fixes, and implement improvements

💡 Who You Are

  •  You’ve run high-context outreach campaigns in healthcare, clinical research, or healthtech

  •  You understand how doctors actually work — how specialties function, how referrals happen, how the U.S. system delivers care

  •  You know how to reverse-engineer who’s seeing the right patients, and how to filter them

  •  You’re systems-driven — you build playbooks, workflows, and logic trees

  •  You’re capable of managing junior staff (coordinators, VAs, SDRs) and getting the best out of them

  •  You’re excellent at written communication and can write persuasive outreach copy

  •  You’re comfortable in Airtable, ChatGPT, Mixmax, and using Google Sheets or lightweight CRMs

  •  You spot failure patterns early and fix them before they escalate

  •  You don’t wait to be told what’s broken — you fix things proactively

  •      Study Startup Manager is delivering under your guidance and not escalating minor issues

  •  You’ve built SOPs that others can follow and started optimizing response rates

  •  The CEO is out of the weeds and focused on strategy — because you own execution
