This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Client Solutions Director, Customer Pharmacy Solutions in the United States.

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Client Solutions Director to lead the Customer Pharmacy Solutions (CPS) team and drive business growth with existing pharmaceutical manufacturers. This role combines leadership, client management, and operational oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality, custom pharmacy solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize program performance, maintain client satisfaction, and implement innovative strategies that enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, PBMs, and reimbursement channels, along with strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills. This is a remote-eligible role with opportunities for direct client engagement and strategic influence across the organization.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and manage the CPS Client Solutions team, including goal-setting, training, and development of direct reports and other contributors.
  • Oversee client program operations, ensuring effective implementation, ongoing performance monitoring, and adherence to KPIs.
  • Establish departmental success criteria, track metrics, and provide meaningful reporting on program health and client outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including Commercial Development, Quality/Compliance, Accounting, IT, Pharmacy Staff, and Support Services, to ensure seamless program execution.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on program workflows, SOPs, policies, and client-specific operations.
  • Drive operational improvements, lead planning for new projects, and foster a culture of results, integrity, and teamwork.
  • Represent leadership in client meetings, quarterly business reviews, and internal strategy sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in pharmacy, managed care, Medicaid/Medicare organizations, pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing, insurance, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of client management experience and 1 year of people management experience.
  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry practices, PBMs, reimbursement support, and direct-to-consumer drug channels.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to manage staff and build relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects to successful outcomes, including milestone tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Analytical mindset with advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and problem-solving ability to address new business challenges and identify growth opportunities.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% for client and business meetings.

Preferred:

  • Specialty Pharmacy or PBM experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in defining, launching, and managing complex client programs.
