They have completed 300,000+ NEMT rides across multiple states — getting patients to their appointments safely, on time, and with care. As they expand into adjacent and new transportation sectors, they are seeking a strategic and results-oriented partnerships leader to help drive our next wave of growth and impact.
About the Role
As a Business Development Lead (Independent Contractor), you’ll own the full partnership lifecycle—from identifying opportunities to closing high-value deals. The ideal candidate understands the transportation or healthcare mobility space and can leverage existing relationships to quickly build impactful partnerships.
Scope of Work
- Source and land high-value deals across healthcare, government, corporate, and transportation sectors.
- Fast-track buy-in with compelling meetings and presentations (in-person and virtual).
- Build strong, key decision-maker relationships and lasting partnerships.
- Negotiate and close deals end-to-end with strong terms and smooth handoffs.
- Manage your pipeline, track market shifts, and stay ahead of competitors.
- Report results, not activities — share key wins and progress.
- Operate like a true owner — drive your own strategy, schedule, and approach to hit shared growth goals.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success in relevant sectors, including transportation, healthcare mobility, logistics, or government contracting.
- Established network and strong relationships across key transportation-related stakeholders in healthcare organizations, MCOs, hospitals, health systems, and public agencies.
- Proven ability to independently source, develop, and close business opportunities, consistently driving measurable revenue growth.
- Familiarity with prospecting applications
Engagement Details
- Classification: 1099 Independent Contractor
- Compensation: Monthly retainer (DOE) + high-upside commission tied to revenue.
- Flexibility: Remote — set your own schedule and manage your own pipeline
- Support: Strong operational team and technology. Access to company templates and light admin assistance to help you stay focused on what you do best
Company Headquarters: Houston, Texas
Services will be performed independently, using the Contractor’s own methods, contacts, and professional judgment. The Contractor will determine when, where, and how to perform the work. Nothing in this agreement shall be construed as creating an employer-employee relationship
