This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Business Analyst / Project Manager (eDiscovery / Legal Hold / IT) in the United States.

You will support eDiscovery and legal hold initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to execute, analyze, and improve processes. You will contribute to process efficiencies, generate insights through data, and support ongoing operational improvements across legal and IT functions. Accountabilities:

  • Support execution and continuous improvement of eDiscovery and legal hold processes.
  • Conduct data analysis and generate custom reports to provide actionable insights.
  • Assist in system testing, validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for technology platforms.
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute legal hold procedures, ensuring compliance and confidentiality.
  • Maintain and update program documentation, process guides, and reporting modules.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including attorneys, paralegals, IT teams, and vendors.
  • Identify and troubleshoot system or data issues, escalating to managers as needed.
  • Design and implement process efficiencies using automation and available technology tools.
  • Prepare presentations summarizing data analysis, insights, and recommendations for stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in corporate law departments, law firms, legal technology, or business/IT analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas, macros/VBA).
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau, Cognos, or similar.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and processes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication, with the ability to work independently in a remote, matrixed environment.
  • Familiarity with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and presentation creation is a plus.
  • Solution-oriented with a focus on collaboration and positive client-facing interactions.
