Job Description
We are looking for a Bookkeeper with credit card management proficiency who will oversee the financial operations related to credit card transactions. This includes processing payments, tracking expenses, and reconciling statements to maintain accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Credit Card Management:
- Monitor and record credit card transactions, ensuring they are properly categorized.
- Reconcile credit card statements with accounting records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage credit card payment schedules to avoid late fees and maintain company credit health.
- Bookkeeping Duties:
- Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Record daily transactions in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, such as profit and loss reports and balance sheets.
- Expense Tracking:
- Track and validate employee credit card usage, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Organize and maintain receipts and documentation for all credit card expenses.
- Analyze spending patterns to provide insights for cost-saving opportunities.
- Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Generate reports detailing credit card expenses and transactions for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting regulations.
- Other Duties:
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Support audits by providing detailed credit card transaction records and reconciliations.
Requirements
- Bookkeeping experience, preferably with credit card transaction management.
- Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks Online and Desktop, Xero
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and reconciliation abilities.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
