Job Description

We are looking for a Bookkeeper (QBO Expert) who will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and generating financial reports using QuickBooks Online. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in bookkeeping best practices.

Bookkeeping Responsibilities

  • Record and post journal entries accurately and timely.
  • Investigate and resolve issues within QuickBooks Online (QBO), including:
    • Payment discrepancies related to "Deposit to Account."
    • Credit card sync errors and related reconciliation.
    • Incorrectly applied payments
    • Integrations with third-party payment software 
  • Generate and run custom expense reports using the General Ledger.
  • Reclassify entries and adjust accounts as necessary to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Assistant, or similar role.
  • Expertise in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is required.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, financial statements, and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
