This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an AWS Data Cloud Consultant in the United States.
In this role, you will guide organizations in designing, building, and implementing advanced cloud-based data solutions on AWS. You will work closely with clients to define their cloud strategy, develop scalable data lakes, and implement governance and orchestration frameworks that ensure data quality, security, and operational efficiency. The role requires hands-on expertise with AWS technologies, data pipelines, and storage solutions, combined with strong consulting skills to translate technical designs into actionable business outcomes. You will act as a trusted advisor, supporting clients throughout their cloud journey, while contributing to best practices, technical content, and innovative approaches. Accountabilities:
- Consult with clients to define and execute their cloud data strategies, providing both technical and strategic guidance.
- Design and implement AWS Data Lakes, ensuring proper architecture for ingestion, storage, processing, and serving of data.
- Develop data quality, governance, and orchestration frameworks to maintain robust and reliable pipelines.
- Build reusable ingestion and orchestration frameworks to support scalable cloud data solutions.
- Provide best practices and guidance on AWS services including S3, Lambda, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Redshift, and other relevant technologies.
- Create technical content, reference architectures, automation tools, and white papers to enable client success.
- Assist in documenting solutions, capturing client feedback, and influencing future product and service offerings.
- Support internal and external thought leadership initiatives including case studies, blogs, and technical briefs.
Requirements
- Professional experience architecting and operating Data or DevOps solutions on AWS.
- Hands-on experience with Python and AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Step Functions, and CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with orchestration, monitoring, logging, alerting, and error-handling frameworks in cloud environments.
- Knowledge of AWS Data Lake, SageMaker Lakehouse, Terraform, and related tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Excellent communication and client-facing consulting skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Preferred experience with DataBricks, Snowflake, Apache Iceberg, and advanced cloud analytics solutions.
