BD Diesel is looking for an experienced Technical Support Representative who is accountable for providing world class sales support to BD customers necessary to continuously improve the creation and delivery of value to our customers. As a valuable member of the BD Diesel team, this position helps customers problem solve, select the right parts and provide insight on installation challenges. This role helps our customers and their vehicles reach their full potential by providing detailed knowledge combined with excellent customer service.
This position reports to the Technical Service Supervisor and works 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday.
Requirements
As a Technical Support Representative, your role includes:
- Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge
- Assist customers with automotive related sales questions related to products, installations and service support
- Function as the Technical Expert for both customers and sales team member
- Working with both the Sales Team and Engineering Team, relay customer feedback and identify trends allowing for product improvement/modification as required
- Provide customers with in-depth information regarding equipment & parts for sale
- Champion the customer as an advocate throughout the RMA process
- Work to resolve customer complaints in person, via telephone or email
- Support the sales team where required in the areas of technical knowledge and customer support
Who You Are:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated vehicle maintenance experience, ASE Automotive Certification or equivalent preferred
- Vehicle maintenance experience is required.
- 2 years customer facing service experience preferred
