This role offers a hands-on opportunity to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software through advanced automated testing techniques. The Automation Software Test Engineer II will design, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for frontend and backend systems, participate in CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software releases. You will mentor team members, contribute to process improvements, and actively support audits and quality initiatives. Accountabilities

  • Design, document, execute, and maintain test plans, scenarios, use cases, scripts, and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for frontend UI and backend API.
  • Conduct full lifecycle testing, including integration, regression, and stress testing.
  • Document software defects and report issues through the company’s CRM or issue-tracking system.
  • Assist in maintaining and modernizing the automation framework.
  • Mentor team members on best practices and conduct code reviews.
  • Support CRM/File Share administration as needed.
  • Collaborate with developers, project managers, product management, and support teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Drive initiatives for improving software quality processes and efficiency.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot customer-reported issues when necessary.

Requirements

  • BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in software testing.
  • 3+ years of automated testing experience, including building and maintaining automation testing solutions.
  • Proficiency in one or more coding languages such as C# (with Selenium).
  • Experience with testing tools such as GitHub, SQL, Playwright, NUnit, JUnit, Taurus, JMeter, Postman, or Appium.
  • Working knowledge of relational database concepts.
  • Familiarity with healthcare or clinical trial industry standards and regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Preferred: familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), methodical troubleshooting, and process improvement experience.
