Android Developer (Remote - India)

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Android Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performance mobile applications for a diverse range of devices. You will work closely with other engineers and developers across different layers of the infrastructure, translating designs and wireframes into functional, responsive, and user-friendly applications. The position emphasizes collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and delivering quality products. You will be expected to optimize performance, resolve technical issues, and contribute to the overall architecture of applications. Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications from conception to deployment on the Google Play Store.
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, reusable, and efficient code.
• Ensure optimal performance, responsiveness, and reliability of applications.
• Identify and fix bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues.
• Contribute to maintaining code quality, organization, and automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Android applications with back-end services.
• Research, benchmark, and implement best-in-class technologies to enhance applications.

• Strong experience with Android Architecture Components and full application lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Dependency Injection (DI).
• Solid understanding of multi-threading, memory management, and caching mechanisms.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with CI/CD principles and Agile methodology.
• Knowledge of Google’s Android design principles, open-source ecosystem, and functional programming.
• Experience with Firebase and additional sensors (gyroscope, accelerometer) is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with remote and cross-functional teams.
• Preferred: Experience developing apps for Banking, Financial, or FinTech domains.
• 6–15 years of relevant Android development experience.
