This contract position offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of data architecture, digital marketing, and customer experience. As an AEP Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in helping enterprise clients unify their customer data and activate meaningful marketing use cases through Adobe Experience Platform (AEP). You’ll collaborate closely with technical and strategic stakeholders, guiding data discovery, schema design, and platform setup to enable real-time personalization. This role requires both technical depth and consulting finesse, ideal for professionals who are self-driven, customer-centric, and passionate about data innovation.

Accountabilities:

  • Partner with client and Adobe teams to document and design data solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead data discovery sessions to assess systems and processes, identifying key data sources and integration points.
  • Design customer-centric data schemas (relational, dimensional, or big data) that support unified marketing use cases.
  • Configure AEP components, including data lakes and real-time customer profiles, ensuring readiness for ingestion and activation.
  • Develop and execute advanced SQL queries and segmentation strategies for targeted marketing.
  • Coordinate with data engineers to test, validate, and finalize data ingestion processes.
  • Participate in consulting operations, including time tracking, project forecasting, and continuous process improvement.
  • Collaborate with peers to innovate, document best practices, and refine data architecture methodologies.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in customer-centric data modeling for CRM, marketing, and transactional systems.
  • Strong proficiency in data transformation and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Unifi, Snaplogic).
  • Solid understanding of database design principles — relational, dimensional, columnar, and big data.
  • Advanced SQL and NoSQL skills, with experience in data warehousing and analytics.
  • Familiarity with reporting technologies such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and use cases.
  • Professional software development background is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a consulting environment.
