This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an AEM Architect in the United States.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) professional to lead high-impact digital projects from conception to deployment. You will design and implement scalable, high-performance solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives while mentoring and guiding a team of engineers. The role involves close collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams, translating business requirements into technical designs and ensuring engineering excellence throughout the project lifecycle. You will have the autonomy to influence architecture decisions, integrate modern technologies, and optimize system performance, all while upholding the highest standards of security, compliance, and operational reliability.

Accountabilities:

·         Architect and lead the development of mission-critical AEM systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.

·         Serve as the technical lead in client engagements, adapting communication to various audiences and providing clear guidance.

·         Translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications and designs.

·         Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including coding, code reviews, testing, and deployment.

·         Manage software component releases and maintain technical documentation, including architecture and design specifications.

·         Investigate and implement emerging technologies to continuously enhance AEM solutions.

·         Mentor senior engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and promoting best practices across the engineering team.

·         Promote and enforce information security practices, ensuring compliance with standards such as GDPR and CCPA.

Requirements

·         7+ years of hands-on AEM development experience in professional settings.

·         3+ years of experience in AEM technical leadership or team management.

·         Proven experience architecting and launching AEM Cloud Service or AEM 6.5 sites.

·         Strong proficiency with AEM, Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR, and Apache Web Server.

·         Experience integrating AEM with third-party systems such as Salesforce, Mulesoft, or Commerce platforms.

·         Solid understanding of system design, high availability, disaster recovery, caching, CDNs, and persistence layers.

·         Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum) and unit testing practices.

·         Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

·         Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience (bootcamp or self-taught with proven expertise).
