Accountant (Fractional)

We are seeking a highly skilled Fractional Accountant. This role is ideal for experienced accountants looking to work on impactful short-long term projects while maintaining flexibility in their schedule. You will be responsible for managing financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing strategic financial insights to help our clients make informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain full-cycle accounting processes, including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Perform budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to aid in financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax requirements in multiple jurisdictions.
• Assist in year-end audits and tax preparations.
• Provide strategic financial advice to support decision-making for growth, cost reduction, and risk management.
• Implement or optimize accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) tailored to the client’s needs.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience (5+ years) as an accountant, with a strong grasp of GAAP/IFRS.
• Excellent Excel skills and proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalent.
• Strong command of English
• Experience in fractional, freelance, or project-based accounting roles is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple clients/projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• CPA, CA, or equivalent certification is preferred.
