Designation: Strategic Account Manager

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive retention and growth of key existing accounts while identifying opportunities to expand business relationships.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets through strategic engagement with CFOs, CROs, and other senior decision-makers, promoting FR&C solutions such as Supplier Risk, Distributor Risk, Compliance Solutions, D&B Credit, Analytics and Onboard.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and annual business plans, establishing revenue goals and projecting sales volume and profitability across existing and new offerings.
  • Execute targeted go-to-market strategies through market intelligence, trend analysis, account mapping, and competitor benchmarking to support effective decision-making and business growth.
  • Lead field sales initiatives to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent achievement of business objectives.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships across assigned accounts to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
  • Serve as a trusted product expert, leveraging industry and solution knowledge to build credibility with internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, compliance standards, and governance requirements while achieving sales goals.
  • Represent the organization at industry forums, networking events, and theme-based CXO/CFO engagements to strengthen brand presence and support customer acquisition efforts.
  • Ensure seamless execution of sales processes with a focus on accuracy, quality, and timely project delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with operations and cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions and fulfillment of customer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information and sales records within CRM and data management systems.
  • Prepare and submit regular business updates, pipeline reviews, sales forecasts, and performance reports to management.
  • Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and transparency within the team.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and adherence to the organization's core values.
  • Support team development and contribute to a positive and high-performance work environment.
  • Requirements

    Key Requirements:

  • MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification with 4+ years of experience in Corporate/B2B sales, demonstrating success in consultative selling, customer relationship management, revenue growth, and team leadership. 
  • Strong ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, develop strategic regional plans, drive business outcomes through analytical decision-making, and effectively engage with CXO-level executives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and people management skills, with experience fostering a culture of trust, teamwork, innovation, and high performance while working closely with internal functions such as Operations, Finance, HR, IT, and other business units.
