Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer & Team Lead in Cracow, where you'll play a vital role in the success of HomeToGo. We're looking for an experienced software engineer and team lead to manage one of our Consumer Product teams. Responsibilities

In this role, you will

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
  • Be a part of a push to improve the product delivery process
  • Drive the development and execution of technical strategies and initiatives to improve the quality of our product
  • Partner with Product to shape the roadmap and ensure engineering decisions align with user needs
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure the timely delivery of relevant features
  • Identify and address technical challenges, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and usability of our Marketplace products
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation, and driving operational efficiency
  • Champion adoption of AI-assisted development tools across the team
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and priorities to meet business objectives
  • What you will bring

  • 2+ years of experience leading and managing high-performing engineering teams
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (PHP, JS/TS) and experience with relevant frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, managing competing priorities
  • Ability to keep the team focused on key initiatives while maintaining operational excellence
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MariaDB, PostgreSQL)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive technical solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in working with agile projects, setting KPIs, defining and executing OKRs
  • Understanding the fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Fluency in English
