Role Summary
We’re seeking a Sales Manager to lead our account management team, drive revenue through direct sales, and expand our network of manufacturer’s reps and distributors. This fully remote, hands-on role is ideal for a results-driven sales leader who can balance strategy with execution in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Coach the Sales Team: Manage and develop account managers to meet or exceed sales targets through consistent pipeline management and performance reviews.
- Manage a Personal Book of Business: Maintain key client relationships, identify upsell opportunities, and ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Build a Rep Network: Recruit, train, and support manufacturer’s reps and distributors to expand national coverage and strengthen brand presence.
- Drive Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share and deepen client partnerships.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with marketing, operations, and quoting teams to ensure smooth client handoffs and excellent service.
- Track Results: Monitor performance metrics and provide regular progress updates to leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within lighting, architecture, or technology industries
- 2+ years in a team leadership or account management role
- Proven success growing accounts and leading sales teams in a remote or distributed environment
- Experience working with independent reps or distribution networks
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Dynamics 365 preferred)
