Principal, Policy (Medicare Part B) Remote working location

Avalere’s policy practice is seeking a Principal with a primary focus on Medicare Part B, physician-administered drugs, and the 340B program. Expertise in oncology policy is a plus. The policy practice addresses a broad range of issues, including federal and state drug pricing policy discussions; Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part B and D policy and payment; evolving benefit design and coverage in public and private payers; Medicaid; and other state health policies. The team applies deep subject-matter expertise and a strong understanding of client business challenges to assess how policy changes affect pharmaceutical manufacturers, managed care plans, providers, pharmacies, PBMs, and consumers. The practice delivers analytic support and advisory services, including legislative strategy, regulatory analysis, and quantitative modeling of proposed and enacted policies.
