Job Description
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and the testing of the physical components and systems of our robots. While our Zurich team is focused on developing the first prototype, the Shanghai team is responsible for testing, integration, and preparing for small-scale assembly as we evolve toward production-ready systems. Your role will be essential in helping us move from early prototypes to robust, repeatable builds, ensuring quality, functionality, and readiness for real-world deployment.You will work hands-on with suppliers, validate mechanical components, lead system integration efforts, and support continuous iteration and improvement cycles. This role requires someone adaptable, resourceful, and experienced in fast-changing environments, particularly with electromechanical systems and small-batch production.We are particularly interested in candidates who have demonstrated experience transitioning projects from prototyping and proof-of-concepts to mass produced products.
