Salary Range: R18 000 - R25 000 per month ( Depending on experience )

About the Role:

The Junior Video Editor will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives through the editing process. You will work closely with the creative team to bring concepts to life, ensuring a polished and professional final product that aligns with the client’s vision and brand. This position offers a high degree of flexibility, allowing you to work remotely while collaborating seamlessly with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the creative vision.
• Collaborate with directors and other creatives to maintain a cohesive style throughout all video projects.
• Implement graphics, sound, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines without compromising on quality.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and new editing techniques.

• Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of edited work, ideally showcasing various styles.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar applications.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
• Familiarity with motion graphics and basic sound design.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in remote team settings.
• Creative mindset with a willingness to accept feedback and iterate on edits.
• Experience with color correction and video grading techniques is a plus.
