Job Description

Leads delivery for engineering teams, partnering with business and technical stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and execute strategic and operational projects.

    Key responsibilities:

  • Partner with teams and individuals to address new business and engineering priorities and challenges.
  • Define, track, and deliver projects within agreed budgets and timelines.
  • Coach, develop, and support team members to strengthen performance and growth.
  • Serve as a key liaison between business and engineering stakeholders.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively, as required.
  • Identify delivery and operational risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Prepare and deliver regular management updates and reports.
  • Essential skills and / or certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field required.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development.
  • 7+ years of experience managing software development teams with several recent years managing multiple teams working on different initiatives.
  • Some hands-on software development experience in languages such as Java or Python.
  • Working knowledge of databases, cloud technologies, APIs, user interfaces and other core software development concepts.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with developers and senior stakeholders.
  • Data engineering knowledge and practical experience.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, with familiarity in traditional Waterfall.
