Job Description

Symmetrio is seeking a Contracts Specialist to support a leading global medical technology company in managing and optimizing its large-scale federal IDIQ contract portfolio. This role will play a critical part in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the customer’s VA Pricebook and related contract documentation.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting Veterans Affairs (VA) contracting processes, strong analytical and data management skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and business systems teams.

This is a remote, part-time consulting position with Symmetrio (W-2 employee) with the potential to be hired full-time directly by our client.  Candidates with salary requirements in the $125-160k range should consider this role.

  • Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain the company’s VA Pricebook, ensuring alignment across hardware, software, and service product categories.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Business Operations, and Finance teams to gather pricing data, service order details, and proposal inputs.
  • Ensure proposals, quotations, and service orders remain compliant with federal contracting requirements, including FAR/DFARS provisions and IDIQ terms.
  • Support the FedRAMP authorization process, coordinating documentation and data requests with internal stakeholders and federal representatives.
  • Track and implement contract modifications, extensions, and price adjustments as required.
  • Maintain organized and auditable records of contract actions and supporting documentation.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements in contract execution and administrative workflows.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, pricing templates, and data validations using advanced Excel functionality (pivot tables, lookups, macros preferred).
  • Utilize Salesforce for contract data management, workflow tracking, and communication with internal teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in U.S. federal contract administration or related operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of VA and/or DoD contracting procedures, particularly IDIQ structures.
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for contract and pricing data management.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience with formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data validation tools.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM for managing contract workflows and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience supporting or navigating the FedRAMP compliance process preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and data accuracy.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field required; PMP certification preferred
