Location: Cocoa Beach, FL
Starting Pay: Up to $27.00/hour + $3.00/hour night differential
Shifts: 1st and 2nd Shift Available
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced CNC/steel processing operator to run fabrication equipment and prepare materials according to production specifications. Experience with one or more of the following is required:

• Kinetic Plasma Table
• Peddinghaus Saw/Drill Line
• Peddinghaus Angle Master
• Ficep Beamline

Experience operating overhead cranes, performing detailed part marking, and regularly lifting up to 50 lbs. is also required.

Key Responsibilities

Set machine controls and parameters for production

Verify material type, dimensions, and stock requirements

Measure materials against design specifications

Apply required part numbers, markings, and production data

Track daily production and material usage

Perform routine machine maintenance and assist with troubleshooting

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Requirements

CNC plasma, sawing, drilling, or cutting experience required

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, symbols, and notes preferred

Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16"

Basic math skills

Safe operation of overhead cranes and material transfer/convey systems

Ability to stand for extended periods

Comfortable working in both hot and cold environments

Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
