Pay: Up to $23.00/hour, depending on experience
2nd Shift Differential: +$3.00/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a versatile Painter / Material Handler to support painting and production operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. Painting will make up approximately 20% of the role, so the ideal candidate should be comfortable performing a variety of shop duties, including material handling, overhead crane operation, loading, rigging, and measuring.

Perform industrial painting tasks, approximately 20% of the role

Operate overhead cranes to move materials and support production

Load and unload materials safely and efficiently

Perform rigging activities for equipment and materials

Use a tape measure and other measuring tools accurately

Operate forklifts and other industrial equipment as needed

Complete respiratory fit testing and follow required safety procedures

Assist with various production and shop duties as assigned

Adapt to changing tasks and support different areas of the operation

Follow PPE requirements and safe handling procedures when working with chemicals and equipment

Previous painting experience and knowledge of painting techniques

Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, or similar industrial equipment

Experience with rigging and loading/unloading materials

Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure

Ability to pass a respiratory fit test

Strong multitasking and organizational skills

Comfortable performing a variety of duties in a fast-paced shop environment

Knowledge of industrial safety procedures and proper PPE use

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexible and willing to take on tasks outside of painting
