About the role:
At Greetz, we believe that a gift says more when it’s personal. As our new Buyer, you’ll play a key role in shaping our assortment of gifts and flowers — bringing creativity, commercial insight, and a sharp eye for trends. You’ll report to the Senior Buyer & Merchandiser and be responsible for the entire purchasing process, from sourcing the right products for every occasion to collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams on marketing activities.

About you:
- Proven experience in purchasing within retail, gifting, or consumer products
- Strong commercial mindset and analytical skills
- Excellent negotiator and networker
- Flexible and proactive — you thrive in a fast-changing and innovative environment
- Customer-focused mindset with a flair for spotting trends
- Experience with e-commerce is a strong plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, develop, and select a commercially successful range of gifts and flowers in line with trends and customer needs
- Take responsibility for product selection and negotiations with suppliers, with a focus on quality and sustainability
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and sustainability
- Manage budgets, pricing, and margins to achieve profit targets
- Analyse sales data, customer behaviour, and market trends to optimise assortment and sales performance
- Collaborate with the eCommerce and Marketing teams to successfully execute promotional strategies, supplier partnerships, and seasonal campaigns
- Work with Supply Chain to ensure smooth inventory management and optimal product availability
- Plan and execute seasonal purchasing strategies around key moments such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Christmas
- Contribute to the development of personalised and trend-driven product collections
