About the Role

This 100 % remote Business Development Representative role is ideal for determined, goal-oriented bilingual professionals supporting clients from Latin America.

THE ROLE

The role is for a Business Development Representative to prospect and contact potential clients through various channels with the goal of scheduling discovery calls on behalf of our salespeople. Valatam’s clients are growing US and Canadian businesses with remote entry-level vacancies or a high volume of computer/telephone tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Provided your work generates 5 qualified sales calls per week, you are free to work as and when you please. Until this KPI is met, you are expected to complete the following activities:

  • Adding 40 vetted leads to our outreach tool (Apollo.io), personalized email sequences & LinkedIn sequences daily.
  • Keeping Hubspot CRM updated.
  • Making 100 phone calls daily.
  • High-touch manual outreach.
  • Manual follow-ups by phone/email/LinkedIn.
  • Tracking activities daily in a scorecard.

Requirements

  • Fluent English (C1/C2) and Spanish.
  • 1+ years of BDR and sales cold-calling experience to set sales appointments.
  • Experience with Hubspot, apollo.io, or similar tools.
  • Independent, problem solver, adaptable, and great communication skills. Must LOVE cold-calling and the art of selling.
  • Quiet home office, stable internet (≥ 10 Mbps down / 2 Mbps up), and backup connection.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.
