The Role

The Senior Analyst, GPD Contact Research is a subject-matter expert for complex professional contact and people-data research. This role handles high-judgment cases, supports research quality and calibration, and translates recurring findings into stronger guidance, controls, and process improvements. The Senior Analyst partners with Operations, Quality Control, Data Intelligence, Product, Engineering, and vendor teams to improve the accuracy, coverage, timeliness, and defensibility of contact data within Global People Data.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently research and resolve complex professional identity, role, affiliation, business contact, and D-U-N-S association cases across global markets.
  • Interpret and reconcile conflicting, incomplete, or market-specific sources and provide a clear, evidence-based research disposition.
  • Serve as an escalation point and subject-matter resource for analysts, Quality Control, vendors, and internal business partners.
  • Review difficult or high-risk cases, provide second-level research guidance, and help ensure consistent application of GPD contact standards.
  • Lead research calibrations, develop examples and decision guidance, and coach analysts on judgment-driven scenarios.
  • Analyze quality results, customer issues, rework, and research outcomes to identify trends, root causes, and preventative improvements.
  • Contribute to research strategies for new sources, markets, attributes, automation, vendor work, and Contact Research on Demand use cases.
  • Define or refine operating procedures, source hierarchies, research controls, and audit-ready documentation requirements.
  • Partner with Data Intelligence and technical teams to translate research findings into business rules, monitoring, workflow improvements, and automation opportunities.
  • Plan and execute small research projects or workstreams from requirements through delivery, including risks, metrics, stakeholder updates, and lessons learned.
  • Create reporting and insights that explain research performance, data issues, and recommended actions to operational and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Promote responsible handling of professional contact data in line with privacy, security, quality, and governance requirements.
  • Requirements

    Key Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in open-source research, investigations, data operations, data quality, entity or contact verification, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on open-source research experience, including evaluation of authoritative and market-specific sources.
  • Demonstrated ability to explain and defend complex research decisions with clear evidence and documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Experience coaching others, supporting quality calibration, or acting as a subject-matter expert.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with a sense of urgency and strong ownership.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including collaboration with globally distributed teams.
  • Fluency in English; additional language capability relevant to supported markets is an advantage.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytical and visualization tools.
  • Experience supporting research vendors, automation-assisted research, workflow design, or process improvement.
  • Familiarity with professional contact data, corporate identity data, D-U-N-S records, data stewardship, or customer-facing B2B data products.
