Channel Factory is headquartered in the United States and has global offices across 20+ cities/countries. This position will be based in the United States. Remote work status is subject to change at any time.
Channel Factory is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to join our Global Technology Organization, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Security, and cross-functional stakeholders. This role sits at the heart of execution, turning strategic roadmaps into shipped outcomes. You’ll bring structure, momentum, and accountability to complex, global initiatives while fostering the human alignment that keeps distributed teams effective and motivated.
The ideal candidate combines technical fluency with disciplined delivery practices, thrives in a fast-evolving AI-native environment, and knows how to manage progress without relying solely on automation, leading with clarity, confidence, and empathy. This role reports to the VP of Technology Strategy and Operations and plays a key part in advancing Channel Factory’s transformation toward an AI-native, globally unified technology organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional delivery of major technical projects spanning product, engineering, data science, infrastructure, and security.
- Design and maintain lightweight processes (e.g., RFCs, design reviews) that clarify scope, capture trade-offs, and keep decision-making transparent.
- Drive end-to-end program execution using Jira, Confluence, and/or other project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, ClickUp, Smartsheet, etc.) as systems of record.
- Establish and uphold documentation standards, ensuring that information remains accessible, current, and actionable.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to define realistic timelines, manage scope, and communicate risks clearly and early.
- Translate complex technical initiatives, including those involving AI models, LLMs, and agentic systems — into actionable plans for non-technical stakeholders.
- Coordinate effectively across time zones and remote teams, communicating asynchronously with intent and timing outreach to ensure responsiveness.
- Foster strong relationships with vendors and third-party partners, ensuring delivery alignment and clear accountability.
- Support (and potentially lead) transitions of projects from third-party ownership to internal teams.
- Facilitate key planning ceremonies such as kickoffs, retrospectives, roadmap reviews, and quarterly planning sessions.
- Provide concise, data-driven updates to leadership and executive teams, ensuring visibility into milestones, blockers, and next steps.
- Coach technical and product leads on planning discipline, estimation, and stakeholder communication.
- Balance empathy with accountability, keeping teams focused while navigating trade-offs with professionalism.
- Demonstrate judgment in ambiguity, recognizing when additional discussion no longer improves outcomes and making decisions to maintain momentum.
- Promote human-in-the-loop principles as a force multiplier for collaboration, change management, and AI adoption across teams.
- All other tasks as required.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of technical program or project management experience in adtech, SaaS, or a high-growth engineering environment. Bonus if you have PMP certification.
- Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary projects involving engineering, data science, and product teams.
- Strong background in AdTech or related domains (DSPs, SSPs, programmatic, measurement, or marketing platforms preferred).
- Technical fluency in software development lifecycles, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
- Working familiarity with AI/ML concepts, LLMs, and agentic product development cycles.
- Deep knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks, and the ability to adapt process rigor based on project context (e.g., internal vs. vendor-led).
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and/or similar project management systems (e.g., Trello, Asana, ClickUp, Smartsheet).
- Skilled in creating structured visibility for leadership through metrics, dashboards, and status reporting.
- Comfortable operating in global, remote-first environments, collaborating across multiple time zones and cultures.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to engage confidently with C-Suite leaders, large audiences, and small teams alike.
- Experience working with vendors and external partners to align on delivery milestones, contracts, and performance.
- Understanding of media and measurement metrics such as VCR, CTR, CPM, brand lift, and attribution.
- Track record of working within global organizations with company revenues in the high six figures or above.
- Incredibly detail-oriented, tailoring messaging for documentation, emails, and/or chat-based communications with a bias for action, able to manage competing priorities without losing momentum.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders without formal authority
- Confident in holding tough conversations about scope, timelines, and quality with empathy and clarity.
- Deep appreciation for the human element in execution, understanding that success depends on both systems and people.
- Ability to travel for meetings, trainings, offsites, events, etc.
