JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking highly skilled Ground Support Systems Technician to support Ground Support Equipment and all related systems. This hands-on role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a quality-focused environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Fleet Asset Management Inventory Team, interpret technical drawings, and follow detailed instructions to ensure the highest standards of system performance. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing ground support systems and related electronic equipment. 
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues using analytical skills, solutions-oriented thinking, and creative problem-solving. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to follow standardized procedures while maintaining high equipment readiness standards. 
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, technical documentation, and OEM instructions. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience working with Ground Support Equipment (GSE), Ground Control Stations (GCS), Ground Data Terminals (GDT), and associated systems. 
  • Hands-on experience with system configuration, re-imaging, firmware updates, and preventative maintenance. 
  • Experience coordinating Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) with OEMs. 
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • IPC 620 Certification
  • Military, aerospace, or defense industry experience is a plus.
