Our client is a well-established wholesale company in the architectural hardware industry, specializing in premium door handles and related products. They are seeking a dedicated Sales Support/Assistant to join their dynamic sales team and provide essential administrative and customer-facing support to drive business growth.
This is a key position that will serve as the backbone of the sales operation, ensuring smooth coordination between the sales team and customers while delivering exceptional service throughout the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Coordination & Administration
- Schedule and manage sales appointments for the team
- Conduct timely follow-ups on sales visits and enquiries
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities
- Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient sales operations
Customer Service & Support
- Respond to customer enquiries with product information and technical specifications
- Prepare and send accurate quotations to customers
- Build and maintain positive relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Ensure customer requests are handled promptly and professionally
Documentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain organized filing systems for sales documentation
- Update customer databases and CRM systems
- Assist with sales reporting and tracking
Requirements
Essential
- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Professional telephone manner and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Preferred
- Previous experience working with a UK-based company
- Background in sales support or customer service roles
- Familiarity with the wholesale or B2B industry
- Experience using CRM systems
