Remote Wastewater Electrical Engineer

We are an expanding engineering consultancy focused on electrical design for wastewater and stormwater lift stations. We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead projects, guide a small drafting team, and support our growth into areas like treatment plant design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with civil engineers, city officials, and equipment vendors to define project requirements.
• Oversee and review the work of a drafting team, and update plans when necessary.
• Work closely with Professional Engineers (PEs) to review and approve designs.
• Monitor project progress, communicate updates to clients, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Review submittals during bidding and construction phases.
• (Optional) Contribute to expanding services into treatment plant projects and help standardize drafting procedures and CAD templates.

• Hands-on experience in wastewater electrical engineering (lift stations, pump stations, or treatment plants).

• Previous experience working for the U.S Market in this same indsutry will be highly valued.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

• Strong AutoCAD skills, with experience reviewing and checking drafting work.

• Experience managing or coordinating projects with multiple stakeholders.

• Knowledge of Autodesk Vault or similar project management software is a plus.

• Broader experience in MEP disciplines (mechanical, civil, etc.) is an advantage.
