Remote Job Captain (BIM Specialist) for California Projects

Uptalent.io is looking for a skilled Remote Job Captain (BIM Specialist) specializing in Architectural Design to lead the delivery of high-quality Revit models for our California-based projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience Level:
• 8 years of architectural experience.
• At least 3–5 years working on U.S.-based projects or directly with U.S. clients.
• Core Responsibilities:
• Lead production of construction documentation (CDs) in Revit.
• Coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP, civil) and ensure drawing consistency.
• Review drawings for technical accuracy, code compliance, and constructability.
• Manage markups and revisions during DD and CD phases.
• Support the Project Architect in maintaining project schedules and deliverables.

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in architectural design with a focus on BIM (Revit) methodologies.

• Extensive knowledge of California building codes and regulations.

• Strong proficiency in Revit, including modeling, documentation, and BIM coordination.

• Experience leading projects and fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams.

• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Fluency in English is required.
