About the role:

Our Kirchheim site is looking for a Quality Control Specialist to join the Production Support team. In this role, you ensure our production processes meet high quality standards from raw materials to finished products. You report directly to the Quality and Lean Manager, helping to safeguard the excellence our customers expect from us.Your work keeps our operations running smoothly and improves product quality. You collaborate across departments to monitor manufacturing processes and solve quality issues. By doing this, you directly impact customer satisfaction and help build a reliable, high-performing production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular product inspections throughout all production stages
  • Monitor manufacturing processes and identify any deviations from standards
  • Inspect incoming materials and components to ensure they comply with quality standards
  • Facilitate root-cause analysis and problem-solving sessions for quality issues
  • Document non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions
  • Provide guidance and training to production team members on quality standards

  • Maintain high quality standards across the plant to boost customer satisfaction
  • Collect and analyse quality data to monitor key performance indicators and drive improvements

  • Partner with Production and Lean teams on cross-functional improvement initiatives
  • Foster a strong culture of quality awareness across the entire Kirchheim site

  • Strong problem-analysis and root-cause investigation skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and inspections
  • Proficiency in digital reporting tools like Excel and PowerPoint for data interpretation
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments

  • A degree, master craftsman, or technician qualification in fields like Printing and Media Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Process Engineering
