Your Role:

As a People Development Officer, you will:

• Conduct thorough training needs analyses across various departments using surveys, interviews, and performance data.
• Design and develop comprehensive learning programs and workshops using instructional design methodologies.
• Deliver engaging training sessions and workshops to diverse employee groups, adapting styles for different learning preferences.
• Partner closely with department heads and HR Business Partners to ensure L&D initiatives support their objectives.
• Maintain and update the company's Learning Management System (LMS) and training resource library.
• Contribute to the enhancement of new employee onboarding programs for smooth integration.
• Champion a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and internal knowledge sharing.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in a Learning and Development or Training role.
• Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and adult learning principles.
• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred skills/expertise

• Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
• Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations related to training and development.
• Strong analytical skills for assessing training needs and evaluating program effectiveness.
• Experience within a BPO or corporate environment in the Philippines.
