Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Shipment Coordination & Transportation Management: Ensure end-to-end execution of domestic and international shipments with operational efficiency.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate freight movements across all logistics legs.
Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely, risk-free deliveries.
Monitor shipment progress and adjust plans proactively to meet operational targets.
Customs & Compliance Management: Manage customs clearance and regulatory compliance to prevent delays and mitigate risks.
Prepare and verify accurate international shipping documentation.
Coordinate end-to-end customs clearance and CIQ inspections.
Ensure adherence to import/export regulations and company compliance standards.
Shipment Visibility & Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear, proactive visibility of shipments to internal and external stakeholders.
Track and monitor shipments, identifying potential delays or risks early.
Communicate status updates and escalate issues to relevant parties promptly.
Facilitate early resolution of logistics challenges to maintain service commitments.
Cost Optimization & Carrier Performance: Drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness in transportation operations.
Secure competitive freight pricing and evaluate carrier performance.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved operational efficiency.
Validate invoices and maintain financial accuracy in logistics transactions.
Data Integrity & Process Reliability: Maintain accurate records and reliable processes to support operational excellence and audit readiness.
Record logistics transactions and maintain up-to-date shipment documentation.
Ensure data quality in ERP systems or other logistics tools.
Support reporting, auditing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirement:
Minimum 2 years' experience in supply chain or logistics role.
Hands-on involvement in export/import customs clearance, trade documentation, and local shipment processes
Experience building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in documentation and data management
Effective communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams and external partners
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on proactive risk mitigation and continuous improvement.
Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Business-level English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking) for global communication
