Junior Accounting Specialist

Job Title: Junior Offshore Accounting Associate
Location: Remote (Must be available during EST working hours)

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Junior Offshore Accounting Associate to support our accounting operations across retail, DTC, and Amazon channels. In this role, you’ll work on bookkeeping, reconciliations, chargebacks, and month-end close activities. This is a great opportunity to develop hands-on experience while working closely with senior accounting leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable/receivable invoices, inventory logs, and COGS entries
• Support inventory accounting: receipts, shrinkage, and adjustments
• Track and help resolve chargebacks, vendor allowances, and deductions
• Reconcile EDI transactions such as returns, rebates, and credits
• Assist with preparing revenue entries under ASC 606 for review
• Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis
• Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and audit trails
• Draft and update standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Collaborate with U.S.-based finance and operations teams on month-end close

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience; e-commerce or retail accounting preferred
• Solid understanding of accruals, reconciliations, and ERP systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP or database tools a plus
• Highly detail-oriented with strong time management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
