Job Description

Own the end-to-end delivery of data assets, ensuring that prioritized business data is made available in a secure, reliable and timely way. The Data Product Owner bridges business demand and technical execution, leading a build squad while guaranteeing compliance with architecture, security and data governance standards.

Key Responsibilities & Expected Deliverables
End-to-end data delivery. Accountable for the secure, reliable and timely availability of prioritized data for business use cases, based on the backlog defined and prioritized by the business.
Scope and commitment follow-up. Track scoping and delivery to ensure committed dates are met, identifying and escalating risks when necessary.
Data needs and design. Lead the understanding and design of data needs by identifying, documenting and maintaining data asset pipelines, their metadata and use-case requirements, at both local and global scope.
Build and ingestion. Drive data ingestion and data asset build processes, including scoping and delivery with a dedicated build squad, and coordinate the interface between demand and run processes.
Compliance and governance. Ensure adherence to architecture, security and governance requirements by coordinating validations with Data Owners, Business Process Owners, the Data Privacy Office, Security and Design Authority; maintain required documentation (data contracts, mappings, data dictionaries, High Level Designs, sign-offs); and apply Data Governance policies throughout the data asset lifecycle.
Squad leadership. Lead and coordinate technical build squads to deliver standardized, documented and reusable datasets aligned with Datahub standards.
Documentation and access. Ensure proper documentation of data transformations, enable user access through the data marketplace, and keep marketplace entries and user access up to date.
Stakeholder coordination. Align stakeholders across business, support functions, IT and global data hubs to ensure standards adherence and delivery consistency.
Data quality ownership. Own data quality for delivered assets by defining KQIs and thresholds, monitoring data observability, and supporting run teams with root cause analysis and complex issue resolution.

Required

Strong knowledge of data management frameworks
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python)
Working knowledge of Databricks and Azure DevOps
Experience in international environments and matrix organizations
Ability to engage with VP and C-level business stakeholders, explaining technology in non-technical terms
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to collaborate across diverse teams
Fluent in English

Preferred

CDMP certification
Knowledge of relevant data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, DMA, DSA, etc.)
French language skills
